you can find your way
If you find your mountain
You can reach the summit.
If you have a vision
You can then become it.
If you find your faith
You can then believe it.
If you have a dream
You can then achieve it.
If you know your destination
You can then arrive.
If you have the will to live
You can then survive.
If you see a victory
You can win the day.
Once you decide what you want
You can find your way.

the doctor’s thoughts ..........
A successful life is a life that is purposeful. Without some greater direction or purpose it will be unfulfilling and lack meaning. Moreover, lack of meaning is commonly associated with poor health.
Everyone needs goals. Everyone needs a reason to get out of bed each morning and look forward to their day. Yet we have a culture that often turns us away from our early inner calling and instead advises us to “go and find a real job”, one with security, salary, prospects. We are subtly but persistently encouraged to follow these established and well trodden paths. This “outside-in” approach to choose our path, our job, our lifestyle may lead us to acquire the symbols of success, but it does not lead to a successful life.
If we follow the “inside-out” path, do what lights us up, makes time stand still, fills us with a glow of satisfaction, it will give our lives meaning, purpose and success. It is never too late to recognise your inner calling and incorporate it into your life. I am still discovering more of my passions and purpose, even now.
